Black day in cricket history. Australia skipper Steve Smith and vice captain David Warner banned from cricket for one year and Cameron Bancroft who actually tampered the ball banned for nine months. David Warner stepped down as the skipper of IPL franchise Sunrisers Hyderabad. Cricket Australia earlier announced that those three were found guilty in this ball tampering scandal. They investigated and found they broke Article 2.3.5 of Cricket Australia’s Code of Conduct and sent back Article from South Africa. The ICC has announced one match suspension and 100% match fee for Smith, while global cricket board fined Bancroft, 75% of match fee.
